[to her credit, Scarlet's focus snaps immediately in the direction of the Dion-sounding voice, eyes big and uncertain as she processes...lizard.

He did let his child for a month cart him around like a toy though, so it's less a battle to grab him and more apparent it's only because he let it happen. ]
